Soldier Starts Amputee Clinic in Iraq

One soldier with the 112th M.P. Battalion hopes the work he started in Iraq will continue to make a difference in the lives of war ravaged civilians.

Captain Steve Lindsley started an amputee clinic after seeing so many children and war veterans struggling to survive.

Tuesday Lindsley returned with the 112th to their Canton headquarters.

After being relieved of duty, he then drove to his home in Monroe Louisiana.

Wednesday morning, he got up at 4:30 to drive back to Mississippi to be honored for his work in starting the clinic by Methodist Rehabilitation Center.
