Lieutenant honored: Central alumni recognized for duty in Afghanistan

Billings Central High honored alumni Chuck Hayter for what he calls "just doing my job."

Hayter, a 2nd lieutenant in the Marine Corps, was wounded last summer in Afghanistan. He was honored during halftime of the Rams' boys basketball game Tuesday evening.

The school saw the tribute as a chance to "recognize a national treasure and a local treasure," said announcer Dave Odermann.
