Local wounded Marine to help dedicate new amputee center

A local Marine who was wounded in combat in Iraq in September will share the spotlight with dignitaries in a ribbon-cutting today in San Antonio.

Cpl. Jacob Schick lost his right foot and suffered severe injuries to his left leg, arm and hand when a roadside bomb exploded Sept. 20 near his armored Humvee in al Najaf Province.
