Numbers Update

According to the Defense Department's latest statistics, 1,356 soldiers have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and 10,372 wounded.

About 220 soldiers have lost at least one limb as a result of service in Iraq or Afghanistan, according to the Defense Department.
